The legal basis is Regulation (EEC) No 2137\/85, published in the Official Journal L199 of 31.07.1985.<\/p> UNIES maintains it\u00b4s own Quality Management System regarding the international standard DIN ISO 29990:2010 for learning service providers. DIN ISO 29990:2010 provides a unified standard for learning service providers, including corporations, vocational institutions, and life-long learning centres, around the globe. <\/p>\n UNIES was granted accreditation in 2024 for one of its Bachelor\u2019s programs by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), a statutory body operating under the Ministry of Higher Education. This accreditation reflects compliance with nationally recognized quality assurance standards in higher education together with its partner the Goon International College in Kuala Lumpur. <\/p>\n The UNIES Business School has been founded 2018 by cooperation agreement with Collegium Humanum „Warsaw Management University“. Today the university has been authorized by the Minister of Science and Higher Education, as a higher education institution with the name „University of Business and Applied Sciences Varsovia“. The University is entitled to offer undergraduate and postgraduate studies in various fields of study and the UNIES Business School is the Training and Education Centre at offshore-campus in Asia, Africa and Europe.<\/p>\n\n The University of Business and Applied Sciences Varsovia entered to the Register of non-public Universities and Associations of non-public Universities, run by the Polish Minister of Science and Higher Education, under the Registration No. 383.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n On September 26, 2024, Adw. Magdalena Stryja was officially appointed Rector of the University of Business and Applied Sciences „Varsovia“. With over two decades in higher education and significant involvement in the Polish Bar since 2015, she brings extensive academic leadership experience. She is a distinguished legal scholar and the first Polish lawyer admitted to the University of Cambridge-led CISDL. A key organizer at UN Climate Summits (COP24-COP28), she has received multiple awards for her work in climate law. Her expertise includes authoring publications on climate law and modern technologies for international publishers, and she has lectured in Labor Law for over 12 years.
